Producing a Technical Specification

The unique RemindMeNow website is a complex technical solution which required the production of a detailed specification to enable software to be produced to standard. This was successfully achieved through close working between WebsynergiDesign and their customer over a period of many months.

Web Application Functionality

RemindMeNow (RMN) provides a service for business, personal or organisational use. Its basic function is to enable members to remind themselves and their customers of important dates, deadlines etc. through a sophisticated diary and reminder system operated through the member’s own extensive control panel. Taking things much further, several complex scheduling systems enable customers to send a stream of reminders at pre-set times and utilising different media to staff, customers and other contacts, also creating a fertile list of new contacts. The membership system works through a secure database which allows members’ details to be used for marketing, promotion, email marketing and other business development uses.

Bespoke Management System

The extensive, bespoke Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) was constructed by WebsynergiDesign to give the customer a high degree of financial reporting (via SQL), customer management and facility for setting rates and bonuses as well as control over the different types of membership levels.

Transactions management is included in the system with all transactions recorded so that it can be used by the client via CRMS to monitor, record and configure services and RMN can run detailed reports to manage their business and customer base. In fact, all the individual services, commissions, bonuses and rates of charging provided by RMN are configured and handled through the unique CRMS, which efficiently stores a mass of information covering the multitude of transactions which take place, giving them massive configurability and self management.

The progressive grid reminder schedule

The unique progressive grid technique of sending reminders to groups or individuals from the contact management format (Web 2.0) works through a scheduling system which checks the bespoke scheduler to send out the messages at their pre-selected times either as texts or emails, with or without attachments and calculates financial bonuses, credits, debits etc. The scheduling system also supports the diary and messaging schedules for reminders.

Customer Control Panel

The customer control panel allows for self management for users of RMN to the variety of services on offer.

Email Marketing Facility is also available including monitoring of success statistics.
